'She sells sea shells on the sea shore…..'

These tiny shells were found washed up on the beach at Muriwai (a northern west coast beach in NZ).
The purple ones are Violet Snail shells - they are a carnivorous snail that lives on the Portugese Man of War - a surface floating type of jellyfish. The cream shells are Ram's Horn shells and these are an internal buoyancy aid for small squid type creatures.
