Another from the gannet visit - because it was so windy, the birds were hovering above the colony - was fun to take the photos, but we really took lots…. now for the editing.
@tinac1@julzmaioro@ourrube@yaorenliu@ianrm@fishers@padlock - it was a fascinating time watching the gannets - interestingly, the whole time we were there (probably about 6 hours over three visits) we didn't see the parents feeding the chicks once!
@mhatch the lookout areas for the gannet colony are above the nesting birds - these guys were flying across the colony and over the edge of the cliff above the sea. It was great, because it was so windy, they were hovering just below us!
