When I was little, this bridge was part of a 'paper road' joining two parts of our farm runoff. There was actually no road on the bridge, just a farm track for moving cattle, tractors and small hay trucks. This railway track came right into our small town, but when I was about nine, the last commercial train left town. Then the railway line was ripped up. Many years later, the track has been re-laid so a vintage train can use it to come into town. One day I'll put up a picture of the train coming through (from a slightly different point of view to this!!!). The bridge was built in 1921. There is still no road on the bridge!
What an interesting story,is it a steam train that runs on the line? What material is the bridge built out of?
Love the perspective of the line and the lovely bright colour:-)
