Camera club theme this month is bottles. The other day, I took this cool shaped schnapps bottle out to the west coast to get a shot of it in the sunset. People must think photographers a crazy bunch, 'cause I was on my knees and elbows, bum up, trying to get down to the same level as the sand… Still, at least it is a quiet occupation, not annoying anybody, unlike the noisy motorbikes hooning around!
Oooo, that works very well indeed. I really like everything about this shot. The colours are stunning, especially the angle you've caught the light on the glass. The composition is outstanding in its simplicity - less is definitely more in this case. And the DOF amps up the whole visual impact. Fav for me.
@happypat yes it is always so interesting seeing everyone's interpretation of the set subject. @julzmaioro and @rustymonkey aod I all enjoy our local camera club.

i agree about the "Crazy photographers" i am all the time laid out in the dirt/grass...where ever! once my father happened to be driving by and thought i was passed out because i was laying on the side walk trying to get a good shot of a daffodil on my way to work! haha.
