Glenbrook Beach

A lovely evening to be at the beach - luckily I wear my trusty gumboots, as I needed to go into the water a wee way to get the best shot. I thought that the horizon was straight, but now I look again, I'm not so sure…

@yaorenliu Ha - yes - actually the incoming tide was sneaking slowly up my gumboots…. Had to was the tripod legs when I got home. I often wear my gumboots when taking beach shots...

Beautiful capture - the colours and symmetry are lovely. There's also some subtle, diagonal lines in the clouds which do a great job of leading the eye into the shot. Well worth the wade!

Really beautiful sunset...lovely colours and ripples in the water. Difficult to judge the level of the picture, because you do not really have a "horizon" but rather a shoreline, which may have been running away at an angle. For my eye it looks perfectly acceptable!
