We have had a team effort to put in a flower garden at our place. My husband and son did the chainsaw and tractor work, then I got to put in the flower plants. I haven't really ever had a proper flower garden, so it's lovely to have. The birdbath was mums, and as she has shifted, we have put it in our garden. Not many flowers to see, as everything is too new.
Lovely picture to have as comparison with what is in store when your garden grows. Do you have a shrub panted for the birds to shelter in near the bird bath?
@ethelperry There is a grevillia planted in another small garden just out of shot, and there are big trees very close by - I will see what happens, and might have to plant something closer - thanks for the idea.
