@julzmaioro and I had a lovely relaxing few hours watching the NZ National Champs polocrosse at nearby Karaka. At the mention of polocrosse, both our menfolk suddenly had urgent jobs that they had to do….. Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and fortunately sat next to one of the competitor's grandparents, who were able to explain the game rules to us. In the Under 16 junior grade, there were riders as young as 8 years old. It's a very fast, physically challenging game for both riders and horses.
AND it didn't cost anything to enter the gate!!!!

@kelly2 Other riders try to knock the ball from the racquet and it's all on to try to pick it up if it gets dropped! Those riders are very skilled for such youngsters.
