This is the neat place we stayed in near Waipiata. It is a mud brick homestead with lovely wooden floors. The owner was most welcoming and spoilt us with homemade bread to go with the lovely meals that Kim cooked. From left top - the old coal range, Peter's homestead, the view from my window, the mantlepiece and drying rack by the coal range.
And don't worry, I'm not a cyber stalker! I have stayed there, and I knew Allan was running a course there this weekend - I just didn't know there were 365ers on it!
@happypat yes it's a great place to stay - but doesn't belong to the instructor - it is a lodge used mainly during the summer for cyclists riding the Otago Rail Trail.
@kiwisnapper yes fab place to stay and terrific instructor/s. Learnt so much and had lots of fun exploring too. Food, photography, learning and having fun - life is good.
