The lone cabbage tree by dide

The lone cabbage tree

When our kids were little, we always used to go camping at a local regional park. Over the years, we have helped plant trees here so it's great to go back to visit and see the growth of the trees. This is an area of wetland that has been left to restore - I just loved the tiny cabbage tree in amongst the flax on a really foggy morning.
Fantastic on black.. what a neat image.. and it looks as though this little cabbage tree has had to fight its way through the under growth.. fv
