This is where our camera club stayed last weekend. It was a neat place, with everything except bedding and food. Water was to be used sparingly, as the supply is rain dependent, and power is supplied by solar energy. In the distance is Rangitoto Island, a volcanic island near to Auckland. If it had been clearer, the lights of Auckland would have been visible.
@maggiemae Um…. a few - I have used a couple here on 365, and some of the lighthouse too. Hard to get good pics of the wildlife - apparently it is good in the winter when the birds are around, not nesting, feeding babies, or racing after each other to play adult games!
