The silver fern

We have had some windy and rainy weather and this piece of ponga (NZ silver fern) was on the ground in the leaf litter. I don't care what anyone thinks, but I love the simplicity and the colours to be found on the forest floor.
It looks great and yes the simplicity works for me to .. perhaps this design could be our new flag design.. fav..

Love it, super shot. I took some photos of NZ silver fern while were in New Zealand recently. It is gorgeous.

The contrast of the silver with the deeper hues of the other leaves is vey pleasing, especially as you have captured some 'midway' tones in the undersides of other leaves.
I think it's a shame that more people can't find pleasure in such things, I feel their lives would be richer and they'd be more content if they could.
