Aren't these lovely?

These gorgeous sculptures were lining the driveway at the school I taught at today. One of the clever staff cut them out and drilled the holes and the kids helped glue in the coloured marbles. They go from little to tall as you drive in the gate, thus representing the growth both physically and developmentally of the students as they go through their school years. A pity I couldn't have caught the light coming through the marbles, but the day was somewhat dull...
great find

Yes, the light would have been great but the textures are lovely anyway and I like your presentation.

Lovely triptych and artwork. You will have to go back again on a sunny day and capture the sunlight on the marbles.

Nice shot of this lovely piece of public art. Good to hear that the school pupils were involved in it's creation.
