The view from our dining room window this morning. The farm next door was getting fertiliser put onto the paddocks. in the foreground you can see the trees that have been planted on our property near the stream. In the background are the large green marshmallows - aka silage bales.
We overlook a field too, although it rises slightly away from us. The farmer has a milk herd and sometimes uses the manure as fertiliser. The first time he did so after we moved in, he knocked on the door so that I could avoid a 'perfume' too pungent and also advised me to close windows etc. Impressive!
