Woodchopping at Waitomo. This is our son's partner, Kate, just beginning the underhand chop. Kate chops and saws and wields a chainsaw with great skill when she is competing in Canada. As well as chopping yesterday, she ran in a 1 km race and was third woman home!
There were four axe women competing yesterday.
