Church in the mist by dide

Church in the mist

We were driving past the Kohekohe Church late afternoon. The sea mist was rolling in, but we didn't have time to wait for it to get surrounded. I have had fun playing with this and the church looks like a wee ornament! There were some other photographers there - snobby lot, couldn't even pass the time of day when I said hello!
Interesting old church. In these conditions, it looks as though it is floating. I hope the other photographers weren't 365ers or Australians.

Is indeed seeming to float, a neat effect

I like it and no they couldn't possibly be 365ers! Nice processing.

@ethelperry @kiwinanna I agree - 365ers would have been most friendly and chatty!

Interesting processing and presentation, how rude of those other photographers Dianne no need for that sort of thing between like minded folk:)

Nice processing, the little church looks as though it is floating. Miserable people who can't even pass the time of day. You will have to come here to take some photos everyone is friendly where I live.

Dianne, this is stunning, as haskar says it looks like a negative! Great work. How did you do it?

One very nice part of the project is that we get to know (somehow) people who live in diferent places of the world. Oh so different! and doing things that we can hardly dream of. I wish there was more of an interaction. But maybe I haven't yet learned how to communicate effectively. Just one week into the project. I will follow you...and NZ!

@caterina I inverted the colours and then just altered the tones.
