We are staying at Waharau Regional Park tonight (on the Eastern side of Hunua Ranges). I went for a walk late this afternoon - on a track that went steeply uphill (the equivalent of 64 floors), then steeply downhill home again. I was trying to show the steepness of the track - and got this lovely burst of light coming through the trees.
It looks a good track, well formed so you don't have to push through all the ferns and bracken! So much foliage and very little light - good to get the focus here! Are your knees hurting?
