These beautifully sewn home-made bears were winners at the Pukekohe A&P show. They were very cute, but I did want to straighten up the little one that was almost slipping down. The show had all sorts of competitions - baking, bread making, vegetables, jams, knitting, sewing etc.
These are rather splendid. I've made some dolls and bears along the way. It's challenging, fascinating, frustrating yet hugely rewarding. Delighted to know that such shows continue to encourage handcrafted items...edible or otherwise.
