At work

We called to see Josh harvesting some maize today. I'm not sure I like watching him in tricky, hilly paddocks, but the machinery did look good against the skyline!
It does look tricky, although the vehicle looks pretty stable.

Wonderful capture...

At least Josh has large tyres, low ratio gearbox and four wheel drive, I think the lorry driver has much more to worry about, btw its a beautiful rural image Dianne and that homestead on the left looks most impressive to:)

Great capture of Josh’s important farm work.

Very cool Dianne! I'm sure Josh is more than capable of handling this beast.

It doesn't pay to look sometimes ... they know what they are doing...

Looks a bit tricky on that terrain. Out of curiosity, is maize the same as corn?

I know exactly how you feel about the tricky, hilly terrain. The machinery is certainly interesting, but do hope Josh is careful.

@kathiecb maize has a lower sugar content to the sweet corn we eat. This maize is being chopped up ( plant and all) to be made onto silage for cattle food during the winter.

I'd be holding my breath watching! It does look tricky.

Great shot to show the nature of his cropping country. I'd like mine to be less steep.
