This image was taken while traveling along on the back of a ute. I love this lovely moss-covered fence line and the metal road leading up into the valley.
A beautiful scene, the fence is gorgeous :)

@golftragic Yes there were 5 between the posts - sheep and beef country, so I suppose that's why. In NZ we call them battens. I can remember helping dad nail these on - I always got to hold the spade against the back of the batten, getting a good jarring as he put in the staples!

@dide Aren't the minor language differences fun? I well remember helping put on untold umpteens of the metal ones where you kinda clip them on to the wires. That was a good while ago too. I remember because I had morning sickness and it was a real slog.
