Tiri dolphins

As we left Tiritiri Island the other day, the dolphins that had been playing in the bay came over to see what the ferry was up to. We were hoping they would follow the ferry, but they went back to the bay again. Someone said they were teaching their young how to catch and play with stingrays?

I love watching dolphins. They are so inquisitive aren't they. We always see them when we travel on the ferry to Tea Gardens as they follow the boat.
