Nearly fixed! by dide

Nearly fixed!

We have had no power all afternoon as someone ran off the road and smashed a power pole. I think they would have sustained some injuries but if they had seatbelts on (a legal requirement in NZ) then they should survive. The power board workmen had to replace two poles.
We headed off in the van as it has better facilities than being at home with no electricity.
Boo
usch for the accident but I like the photo

A candidate for 'leading lines'? Good decision to turn a mishap into an opportune outing. Every cloud...etc.

Lovely composition, lead in lines and depth of field Dianne, when you think how much space a powerline pole takes up along the side of a road its amazing how the ever manage to get hit, but it happens all the time as if cars are magnetically drawn to them:)
