Maris Anchor seed potatoes by dide

Maris Anchor seed potatoes

We planted a couple of rows of potatoes today and they should be ready for Christmas and the summer holidays. I haven't planted this type before or the Red King ones either. It is a matter of taking what seed spuds you can get during lockdown. I'm sure any freshly dug potatoes with lashings of mint will be just fine!
I love what we call "New Potatoes" Small and freshly harvested.

Lovely!! For the first time, we are actually planting some potatoes in northeast Scotland for Christmas harvest. Apparently, it is quite successful so worth a try!!

Lovely shot and line of potatoes. Your soil is very different to ours as regards to colour and, of course, to chemicals and textures.
