Nice spot for a picnic

...well it should have been a nice spot if a) we had a picnic with us and b) it wasn't raining...
This is where we turned around on our bike ride through the gorge last weekend. The footbridge takes you over the river and main road to a little railway station where you can catch the train from Waikino to the next town - Waihi.

Seeing all the green makes me think a) you don't live in the same part of the world as I do b) we have been blessed with a mild winter so far but it's not warm enough to go on picnics especially today.
