I hate when these signs pop up along the road. We are losign so much farm land in our area, and it's a shame. This area is zoned for business, and a mile up the road there is an entire lot, probably housing 6 or 8 empty store fronts, and they want to build more. It doesn't make sense.
Yeah, the same thing happens here. I don't like it either. There's a place where they built new stores years ago...but no one has ever moved into them. Yet, the land is gone.
It is a shame- we are losing wooded areas here- for all sorts of things from business to housing. On top of that the NYer's that move out here think that the land should be cleared and grass lawns put down. Then they complain because the grass doesn't grow well in this soil! Did they ever stop to think that it wasn't growing there for a reason? Sad shot!
It's the same here. There are thousands of empty houses and apartments and they still keep on demolishing old houses and building large apartment blocks. I think the world has gone heywires.
