Reflecting On What We Used To Be

I imagine this stump once lived a full and colorful life like the ones in the distance. Did you ever reflect on what your life used to be? Reflection can be healthy. It can serve as a motivator, pushing us forward, more cautious, striving to avoid some of the mistakes we may have made in the past, or it can cause a loss of focus, with the risk of getting "stuck" in the past. Life is full of great lessons if only we learn how to look at our mistakes.
A fav for me.. It reminds me of a fishing hole I wen to as a kid, love the colors and the reflections. What a place a meditate....

I have been pondering on thinking bout the past also! I sometimes feel like that stump up front but I try to focus on what I still can do and the blessings in my life. Fav on this! Gorgeous fall scene And nice thoughts
