Had a beautiful weekend and am just in a really good mood, so thought I would put this out there for everyone to share their favorite photo from their project done over the weekend (Fri-Sun).
Here's mine (it was part of the June Word Challenge) and I was very pleased with the end product...
OK. I'll play. Although I liked my theme shot from Friday, I really like how this one turned out with the natural light through the nearby sliding glass door. The dog is considered sad, yet if he were a person, I think most people would say he was in a thoughtful or pensive mood.
@jsw0109 Gorgeous photograph, Jeff. I can see why it's your favorite. It's very pleasant and calming. Great color.
I guess my favorite is this one that I took of a little cousin. I really like the vibrant colors and I'm so excited tthat I captured the look of him contemplating his wish....a very important thing for a 6-year-old. :)
I had such a wonderful weekend, it is difficult to choose. There are bridge photos from our walk over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge; Osprey photos; and old prison turned into a thriving artist/studio space; and then there is this. The original columns from the Capitol building in Washington, DC now residing at the National Arboretum:
Sunday.
I'm undecided on the processing, I see it one moment and love it, and then the next I think it looks weird and too yellow. I think it is the best I've ever done in terms of composition though:
First time I've caused some controversy on 365! The sculpture is called "Wherefore Art Thou?" and one side is called Capulet and the other Montague. The star-crossed lovers' hands touch through the open heart at the top.
@jsw0109 I noticed there has been views, but no comments, was wondering if maybe it was too revealing or suggestive for the folks here on 365 or if it just not as good of a shot as think. :)
@hopess13 that is really weird because I commented on the pic. It was a simple "wow" but I commented and my comment is gone.... so I have no idea what is up with that. I don't think its too revealing
I really dithered whether to put the one from my extras on Friday, which I really like, but is from a few days before, or this one I really took on Sunday
The Grand Finale to the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, managed to even grab a glimpse of the Queen on her way back from St Pauls...it's been an amazing weekend :-D

@rockinrobyn that IS an awesome temptation shot!
@nikkic looks very joyful!
@carolinedreams that is a gorgeous sunset
@munchkin84 I want!
@jsw0109 Love your capture Jeff! Amazing!
Hard to decide...my new kitty is so cute but I love this one
