I live in Connecticut and it got up into the upper 90's yesterday. It was hot but I was fortunate to be at work in a nice air conditioned office. When i got home my wife and I took our dogs out back to play in the water and cool off. This is a shot i took yesterday of my dog sprite shaking off.

its been raining for week sin the uk, but yesterday it was dry, so this is the sun in the evening it was just cooling off naturally but had been quite warm
TOTALLY JEALOUS!! I have not really felt hot at all this summer (in the UK), we have had rain, rain, rain and lots of floods - just after a drought was declared. NOT FAIR :(
