We've done this a few times but once again I'd love to see two shots of yours of the same or a similar subject with a considerable time span in between to see your improvements. I'll start with these two: 14 July 2011 and 1 July 2012 Same flower separated by many lessons from many of you.

This is my latest attempt at it. I definitely have improved since my first one. I have sold a bunch of prints and look forward to creating many more.

Different species of dragonfly, but both taken while riding a paddleboat on Crystal Lake, and in fact not more than 15 yards apart.
Not only do I have a bit more zoom now, I have learned to stalk birds and insects.
6 months later
I'm loving these images! I've got to go back through my work to see if I have anything similar.
