November 30th, 2012
Are you making your own Christmas cards this year using one of your favourite photos? I have been making mine and I would love to see your creations.

If you have time please post a photo of your Christmas card in this thread.

Wishing you all a lovely festive season.

November 30th, 2012
@denisedaly - Thank you very much! I figure a nice glossy finish to bring out the shine and color.

@michaelelliott - this is just gorgeous and I would love to open an envelope to discuss this image on the front of a card. You should contact Hallmark for next year :)

Not sure about this yet as my dog doesnt look very merry !
November 30th, 2012
@michaelelliott Let me know where you find a source for a nice glossy finish. I am looking for a venue.
November 30th, 2012
@juliehill Maybe inside you should have a quip about his surprised look.....or on the front...."I'm dreaming........."
November 30th, 2012
@welcometocarolworld Thats a good idea! I'll definately do that
November 30th, 2012
@juliehill - Julie this is too cute!
November 30th, 2012
@egad Even if you do get a good shot I think you should use this one. So much personality in it. :)

@michaelelliott Some of them would end up with wear and tear on them, but a beautiful choice.

@nicolecampbell No cards again this year. Last year my wife instead did a video collage holiday greeting cause she couldn't decide on one or a couple of shots. Posted it on youtube and sent invites and password to family and friends to view. Then sent a few copies of images requested by family. :)
November 30th, 2012
I will! I'm thinking about using this one from last year:

What do you think?
November 30th, 2012
@egad I really like this one..I would use it..the little ones look so natural here.

i do every year... from a shot of my kids... this year is harder than ever because (a) they are harder than ever to tie down, and (b) i am now pickier than ever about photos and (c) i continue to totally suck at portraiture...

I’ve made my own cards since my kids were little and before I even owned a camera. I’m still working on this year's, but here’s mine from a couple of years ago. It was inspired by a Christmas shopping outing when we decided to cram the whole family in a photo booth on a whim.
December 1st, 2012
I had a few to chose from last year and I think this was the winner. I starred a discussion and had everyone vote. There was an overwhelming response...I was amazed :)
Sadly, no time this year

December 1st, 2012
I did this one today for my daughter's dance team
December 1st, 2012
Mr Bokehbelly was the photo I used on my Christmas Card last year. I am still trying to decide which photo to use this year...

Surprisingly, our four-legged babies were pretty cooperative so there weren't as many hilarious "outtakes" this year as last, lol!

I used this image from my project for Christmas cards.
