Hi 365'ers. Last week I posted a question, "Where are you from?", for those I was following and those following me and the response was amazing. I had replies from 31 countries and 30 US states and the District of Columbia. Just for info I have listed the countries and states. Thank you and have a great New Year. Dave from Ohio
New Zealand, Australia, Finland, Ecuador, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands, So. Africa, Wales, Guatamala, Germany, India, New Guinea, Scotland, Botswana,
England, Belgium, Singapore, Brazil, Malta, Czech Republic, Cambodia, El Salvador, Philippines, Japan, Romania, Russia, Lithuania, Israel, Switzerland, Norway.
States: IN, TN, WI, CA, NC, GA, OH, VT, IL, DC, CO, MA, NY, UT, NE, DE, WA, TX, OR, PA, ID, CT, VA, MT, NJ, MN, MI, OK, NM, KY, ME
Thanks for compiling all that Dave! As a geographically bound (and broke!) college student I love the diverse community that we have here on 365. I can put my travel-aches on ice by browsing through the (incredible and semi-real time) photos on here and seeing the world through my computer screen :-)
@attraversi It is both wonderful to see the world on here through other's eyes/cameras and jealous provoking when I get to see all the other photo opportunities others have. It is a fun ride
I was starting to get the impression that people on here are from all over. Some of the pictures I've seen are, to me really exotic. I suppose to other people it's what they're used to seeing but I love it.
Sorry Dave. Meant to post to this. I did all 50 states a couple of months ago. Got a great response. All 50. Hope you're able to get all 198 Countries and more. Put me down for New Jersey, USA.
Let's add Little Rhody to the list! Here's the skyline for Providence, Rhode Island. (I'm from North Providence. Or, as we pronounce it, Naught Prov'dince, R'Diland.)
You can add Spain to the list, too. I live in the south (Cádiz province), but I travel to Madrid several times a month, so my photos cover a nice chunk of the country.
We used to live in Rapid City and I miss the Black Hills so much! It's such a beautiful place. We live East River now and I only get back to the Hills about once a year. It's always so hard for me to leave when we visit. ) ':
@wadazomo - I just wrote on todays photo that one of the things I have loved about 365 is traveling the world from the comfort of my computer with people from all over the world. Its wonderful :))
@seafilam72 LOL. You wanna know something interesting? In the school district the audiologist when we were there was named Lynn Woods! I don't miss the dark. We've been grey here lately, but NOTHING compared to the Seattle area!
@seafilam72 hey it's not wet and grey where i live! i'm in western WA so it's much more warm + sunny here then over in Lynnwood ;) although we do got an awful lot of snow and ice at the moment....
@m9f9l Yep, and you're being foillowed! I spent the summers of 93-95 in Boring, Or, working at a summer camp... Just off highway 224, about 20 miles out of Portland.
@seafilam72 I'm out the Gorge in The Dalles :-) @gracej I grew up in Seattle, and I much prefer this side of the mountains. The Dalles boasts 300 days of sun a year! Much better for my mood! All our snow has melted and it's sunny today! @edpartridge Boring's not far from where we lived before we moved here :-) Thanks for the follow!
@gracej Yup, I knew you were in Eastern, didn't even notice you'd written Western!LOL Probably you were thinking NorthWest LOL. Didn't know you still had snow though?
And thanks for collating.
