@flamez Its not embarrassing its a good shot, Mine was SOOC but now Ive started to Edit, I look at My First Photo and think "I can do better" which I think is good as it shows that 365 is helping Me get better day by day. x
I found this website at work and decided I needed to start that day. I pulled out my phone and snapped this. I like how it turned out... but I resolved to put up better photos. Lately mine have been more in line with what I know I can do and with pushing limits and trying new techniques.
@lisahutchinson ~ i liked your first shot but i love water shots :) , i look back and think OMG ive learnt loads already ! so i guess the project is helping loads yay :) lol
@flamez Definitely agree there, Hmm I say I look at that and think I can do better not sure if I can when it comes to Water found that hard to capture and not had much success since.
This is mine from May 2010.
I didn't quite realise what this community was like when i posted it, and was shocked when i realised everyone could see it - lol!
I actually factually started my project on Feb 2nd, but I uploaded this photo that was on my camera from a concert I went to on Jan 21st. I was just seeing if I could get the site to work and trying to figure out what it was all for. It's unpolished, but I still love it for the memories from the night :D I think that's part of what photos are meant to do: connect us to moments in our time so we don't lose them- or ourselves.
I started on Jan 1 and had a resolution in mind... yeah, I haven't stuck to my resolution of running as the picture suggests. But I have still shed about 6 pounds since the new year so not all has been lost!
I hate this picture because I feel like I've come so far since this day, but I guess I'll play along. I started back in September of 2010. Here's day one... blah. It sucks compared to what I feel like I can do now!
I had just been given my husband's old iPhone and gotten a few apps to play around with - these are the dining room chairs I bought myself for my birthday. The image itself was much more well-received than I expected ...
i was driving home after a new years eve party. the roads were silent but the Christmas lights were still up, so i snapped this real quick. its definitely not the best picture ive taken this year, but it is the first.
I was invited to 365 by a friend of mine. I came, signed up and figured that I'd start on the 1st of January. But I took a decent picture of a millipede while out on a hike in the desert so I posted that. Then, I didn't post again for a week, then posted another pic on Christmas Day. I wasn't sure I was going to do this, but I've posted a picture every day since the 30th of December.
This was my first taken while on Christmas vacation. Loving every minute of and have posted everyday since I started. Plan on making a book out of my first 365 project.
I started on 2nd January, I didn't want to leave it another day but it was getting late so I ended up taking this rather uninspired shot, I think in the past 2 months I've started to improve in both my ideas and abilities.
I started mine on 1st January 2011, and I knew I was going to start on that day but nearly forgot to take a picture! My first picture was of my glass of champagne on my dresser right before I went out for New Years drinks with the family. :)
I started on the 1st of January actually. :) This is my first one. Nothing special, taken through a window, that's why it's smudged at some points. Still something to remember. :)
I started last year in February, but didn't stick with it. This was my first uploaded photo back then. I did a remake of it later on and I must say it shows some improvement.
This was my second photo posted but was taken that day - January 2, 2011. My first photo posted was taken two weeks prior. I love the 365 Project and Community,
I started in January of 2010..although I have 32 other pictures before this one and that's because those were fillers. at that time I didn't realize that it should be the date posted the day the picture was taken.
My first photo was one of the worst ones I have ever taken! EVER! I was so overwhelmed by what to take, that I took nothing. Finally, I snapped a pic just to post something. (At least in the picture in the picture was mine). :0)
I started on 1st January 2011 - after planning to do so for ages! It seemed apt to take a picture of my camera (which has been mostly replaced by my second hand DSLR now)
I'm not sure I want to show this, because I'm not proud at this picture, it does shows that I've learned a lot in the last months... It also has no comments at all, poor first picture ;-) Oktober 10th last year.
Just started a few days ago. This is a fairly uninteresting photo, but we are just surrounded by snow, so it's everywhere I look. And it was jut so pretty with the sun shining down.
We/I drove 600 miles to visit family after Christmas (on December 27). Right after arriving and eating dinner, we headed out in mid-20's degree temperatures to "Greenfield Village" in suburban Detroit. Henry Ford "collected historic buildings" which have been reconstructed at Greenfield Village and I shot Noah Webster's home. (Yep, the Noah Webster of the English language dictionary...)
officially started on jan 11, 2011. So this was my first post. Then I went back through my files and found two photos taken on previous days, so it looks like I started on 1/8 but I didn't really... =)
My first was my soft and snuggly chinchilla, Maci :)
I'm actually really pleased with that photo... and it's SOOC, too!
This was my second:
7th jan this year :)
I didn't quite realise what this community was like when i posted it, and was shocked when i realised everyone could see it - lol!
My current pictures show the birds a lot closer than this one. Improvement!
Poo, right! I think I have come a pretty far way since then.
This was my first! I started January 1, 2011
My first was this picture of a tree taken in Texas.
Almost 80 days ago now! wow :)
i had started one last april, but only lasted a few months...that first pic is on another computer otherwise i'd post that...

I only started 8 days ago, but I want to participate. Haha. :D
Just the usual start to a day so New Year's Day was no different! The back garden at my house.
This was mine back in June last year. It was a straight out of camera shot with no editing at all.
