amount of views

Has anybody else had an extremely high amount of views lately?

@ludwigsdiana yeah Diana usually varies but similar, but today when I looked at 9.00 am this morning it was 1,920 and has been increasing throughout the day it is only 2.30 in the afternoon and my views are reporting 2,236 everything else seems fine comments, favs seems to be correct. Looking at the photos being views they mostly seem to be top twenty some going back years.

Hi Jo, just checked and all as usual for me.
When this happened a while back, suggestion was to make targeted photos limited and unpublic.

I'm always intrigued by older photos getting 1 or 2 views in a week- how it why does that happen?!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Either some one is exploring the photos here, or someone's bot is scraping photos. When I haven't posted in the last seven days and there are many consecutive day-photos with one view makes me think it is a bot. I checked when this happened about a year ago and found some of my photos on a site that I didn't know about.

@byrdlip Curious as to how you found your images had turned up on an unauthorized search. I don't have the faintest clue how to even begin finding that out.

my views seem normal but random old photos getting a view @30pics4jackiesdiamond i think the only way this could happen manually is if someone clicked the random flashback a few times, viewed by tag, or went back via monthly views and only clicked a few to look at, its weird!! ,

@granagringa just use your favorite search engine with you name and see what shows up. Look under the image tab if there is one (not familiar with all browsers)

The last couple of days I’ve had around 200 views which is huge for me

Have had a quick google and found 14 of mine shown as 365. My view stats are still up this morning at 478 so far. Yesterdays ended at 2,428........

I average about 20 views with an occasional spike to about 50. I can’t imagine 200 views, never mind 2000. And I just googled myself. Apparently I don’t exist.
