@bighardcore Scott - gorgeous pic. Is this bird in captivity? At the zoo closest to home, I can only view the eagle through a wire fence. :( Beautiful, beautiful bird!

@meredithwb Thank you! I think he was actually standing on a piece/chunk of dirt in the field. That was such a neat experience to share with my kids.

Back in January or February it seemed everytime I turned around I saw Bald Eagles....not so much lately. I never was able to get a really clear shot of them as they were usually a bit too far out of range or they flew off as soon as I got close. I got so excited when I saw these birds I could barely take the picture!.
