@sarabeth_photo ~ 30's are not as bad as they seem :D i was scared to turn 30 i wanted to be tweenty-teen instead until my boy pointed out that woud make me at least 33 :( haha !
@flamez My husband is two days older, so he keeps track of our age. I missed being 27. I seriously thought I was 26 the whole time and it wasn't until I was almost 28 that I realized it. So I always check with the hubby so I don't lose another age!
@cfitzgerald ~ haha ! brilliant ! my fella is 2 years younger but for the last 9 years (almost) has constnatly reminded me how old i am compared to him :( booooo lol !
@daisy Yeah, I noticed too that mostly the "younger generation" was chiming in.... :) I still feel like I'm 12, for the record. The mind, at least. Not so much the body.
I just turned 23 in April. I always think I'm younger because my daughter was born 3 days before my 21st. That whole year was a blur, so I feel like I missed it. I keep thinking I'm like 20 or 21. Nope! Happy birthday Saturday!
@itsonlyart I actually turn 40 in November, but in a funny story, I actually told someone I was going to be 60. Not sure where my brain was, but I just added 20 years to my life.
Oh lord....i feel like 34...but i am many many years older than that...happy bday to you...it is a great bday.... oh i need to just embrace it. I just turned 47 in April, but since all last year i thought i was 47 I think it is only fair that I call myself 46. @cfitzgerald so you are not alone...it only gets worse with age ;)
For all you "young 'uns", the 30 were pretty good ... the best I can remember.
The 40's weren't as bad as I thought they might be.
At 50 I decided to "re-invent" myself and had a blast!
I'm almost 2 1/2 months into year 51 and looking into starting a new career.
Don't worry about getting older, there are so many more things you can do than when you were younger and you don't care what anyone else thinks about the craziness you do!
@meredithwb Most of the time I feel a lot younger than I really am. Today, I feel older than I am (lots of seriousness going on today). Hopefully, I will be back to my bubbly young self tomorrow.
Celebrating my 2nd 21st birthday (like I could handle doing that again). I'm 42, for a few more months. Remember when adding the 1/2 to your age was important? Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday @itsonlyart . I am much much older than the average here. I am in an age that either I lie about it or keep it in secret. I feel like I am 30 though or maybe even 20 .
I turned 26 on 10 March, but I still feel like the small boy who used to play in the garden and kill insects and shoot my BB Gun at Beetles etc... hehe, now I just use a camera to shoot all those things!
Early birthday wishes for this weekend! I'll be 38 in a few months so 40 isn't that far off for me. My son Callum used to think the taller you were the older you were so that my brother who is over 6 foot tall (and is now 19 years old) was 93 years old, kids.... don't ask. lol.

@itsonlyart Happy Birthday Dale- I too will celebrate a birthday on Saturday! But I'm a few years ahead of you at 55. Now, I know this is a cliche of sorts, but I don't really feel 55 (although I honestly don't know what any number FEELS like- it's just a measuring device!). I tend to think "young" because I'm a creative person. I have a feeling the same is true for you. So, happy birthday, birthday buddy! Enjoy your special day!!
I'm doing this to track my 40th year in the world, so turn 40 next March. I actually can't wait - I hate being 39. Something to do with it being the 'end' of a decade, or something. I hated 19 and 29 as well, but loved being 20 and 30!
I'll be 40 in November (although I don't feel it, I'm not quite sure what age I would say "I feel" really...) I am planning on going sky diving for the first time to celebrate! Can't wait!

@itsonlyart ... Age isn't what it used to be years ago, especially for women. When I was 20 I used to think 50 was old, but now that I am 52, well, it really isn't so bad. In fact, its pretty darn awesome.
