Somehow yet another month has flown by, before we blink and it's October please will you share with me your favourite photo from August.
Please limit it to only one shot, I know it's hard to choose and I always struggle too.
This is mine, well my favourite for today, there were a lot I was close to picking. It's from 21st August but I posted it in my second album a I picked a photo of my son as the photo of the day.
Too difficult to choose! had a fairly good month with a fair few shots out of my comfort zone - really liked this for it's simplicity and everyday-ness!
I love this photo so much -- it was a crappy movement shot. I was running, they were running, we were all half drunk on wine. I got home and turned it in to something that people really liked, and I fell in love with it the more I looked at it.
Tough choice, but this one. It shows my mom passing on knowledge of something she loved like my grandma did for me. This is my daughter learning to bake.
Yep, it's a struggle sometimes to choose but choose we will. For me, it's those once in a lifetime family shots that trump all the others. Those moments when we always wish we had a camera to capture them and never did. Well, this is one I did capture. Now, why is this mustard container empty? ;-)
I feel like I had month of learning, trying new things, & enjoying my 365 journey. I posted this shot yesterday in my Sloppy Seconds album. It was a hard choice between my Las Vegas shots, Jesus shots and this one, but in the end, the bokeh was my final choice. Hope September is as good as August was! ;-)
Well, August was definitely a "blah" month for me...just not enough time to come up with good ideas for photographs, let alone execute them. : / Anyway...I did really like this photo. I love landscapes, and I love sepia, so I'm going with this one:
I really want to post my chocolate fountain pic, because seriously, CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN. But it was taken really hastily and isn't what it could have been if I'd been able to take my time with it, even with my crappy little point-and-shoot. So instead I think this one's my favourite:
@psychographer So Beautiful and simple! @rich57 I can see why its a fav! @andycoleborn Makes me wonder what they are talking about while walking. Great pic!
This is really hard as my family had so many photo ops this month when holidaying in the USA and Canada. Will have to choose my Niagara Falls shot as it was number one thing to do on my bucket list:
So I haven't been as involved as I wanted to be with work and moving so I didn't get to shoot a lot of what was in my head. This is my favorite because I saw it coming and set up the shot completely within the camera. I adjusted the colors some in post but thats all!
I think this shot is my favorite, just because I finally was able to get a close up of one of the little finches who visit my window feeder. They usually fly away when I get too close! This was with a 100mm, so not even telephoto! I love her little expression too. Made me smile. =)
A weird choice for me, but this one really sticks out. August has been an extremely busy month for me, busy in a good way though.. Here's the shot
Still makes absolutely no sense why these were here. And it still puzzles me =)
August was an intense rollercoaster ride for me, with my photos reflecting that: everything from really good to really bad. :-) I'm going to pick this selfie, though, as my favourite for the month...
I'd have to say this is my fav from Aug, it was the first time I'd actually used manual on my camera instead of aperture or shutter priority so was a bit of a milestone, plus I just love the way it turned out :D :
I took quite alot of photos in August that I was pleased with but some of the most fun was the lego shots that I did for the Mike stimpson challenge so here is one of them. :D
I'd tried on so many occasions to capture these fawns. On this day the clicking of my camera actually drew their curiosity, and they walked toward me :)
August was hard for me, it was my first full month, and i really liked all my photos. But this one got the most hits, and i admit i do love it alot as well.
My August favorite; I love this, especially as it was all luck. The sun was so bright, and I couldn't see any image on my screen. True meaning to point and shoot. ;)
i had a few really good ones in august that really surprised me. but i would go for this one because of its clarity which is something that rarely ever happens to me. this is from august 20th.

This was the hardest to post with the most profound words.
@rich57 I can see why its a fav!

Trouble deciding between two from the same day.. went with this, also happens to be my most popular photo of the year.
This is probably no. 1 because of a few reasons, also it's my first panoramic shot:
The second is of my daughter in the same vicinity, choosing between the photos is like choosing between them, so I'll post hers as well:
Selfie:)
I choose this one- I like the perspective and it was taken in my own environment.
I just love little bears!
Had to be this one- my best floral yet.
It just looks like fun!
this is my favourite of my august picture, probably because i had to get up so damn early to take it!
Still makes absolutely no sense why these were here. And it still puzzles me =)
This is mine, partly because i braved my fear of bees to get it! :)
I was most pleased with this one.
I really like this one
I was pretty happy with this one :)
This was my favourite for the month, not because it was clever but I was just pleased with the simplicity.
Both taken on the same day, both with the same model. My first time with a model, her first time modelling...
This was so hard to decide. I love the one I took the following day as well!
It's true - I love the project!!
simply because I couldn't decide between these two photos; sorry
I think this one - cause all the selfies I played with took me out of my comfort zone and I had lots of fun editing :-)
