Many thanks to all who participated, all who voted for my album cover to win, and especially to @kathyboyles for hosting Album Cover Challenge 79.
So here’s how the album cover challenge works:
1) Go to Wikipedia and click on Random Article which can be found near the top of the sidebar menu to the left of the page. The first random article you get is the name of your musician/band.
2) Next go to the Quotations Page and choose Random Quotes which can again be found on the left sidebar menu near the top of the page. Scroll right down to the bottom of the page - the last 4 - 6 words of the very last quote you see is your album title.
3) Next, find a suitable image for your album cover, based on your artist & title.
- Edit your image in any way you like and as much as you like, using any processing programme or software you like.
- The image doesn’t have to be taken within the timeframe of the challenge, but the image that you use must be one of your own.
- Remember, album covers are square, so use a square crop.
6) Feel free to share your album covers on this thread, to keep the discussion visible.
7) The challenge starts today, Friday 19th May and will run until midnight (GMT) on Friday 9th June. I’ll shortlist the finalists and voting will open on Saturday 10th June. And of course, the winner will have the honour of hosting the next album cover challenge.

album = years of accumulated finesse
I'm struck by the insidious, computer-driven tendency to take things out of the domain of muscular activity and put them into the domain of mental activity. The transfer is not paying off. Sure, muscles are unreliable, but they represent several million years of accumulated finesse.
Artist: Tree stack automaton
Title: Resource against calamity
Quote: In the highest civilization, the book is still the highest delight. He who has once known its satisfactions is provided with a resource against calamity. - Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882), Letters and Social Aims: Quotation and Originality, 1876
It's been awhile since I've done one of these, so I thought, what the heck. Then, I got this:
band: List of Burmese traditional festivals
title: King of England to avoid libel suits. .... as in the quote: Newspapermen learn to call a murderer 'an alleged murderer' and the King of England 'the alleged King of England' to avoid libel suits.
[info][add][mail]Stephen Leacock (1869 - 1944)
WTF am I going to do with this smash up of words? I've never been to Burma and I just googled if the Brits once ruled Burma...turns out they had. Still doesn't make my job any easier!
band: Westlake park
album title: Make today worth remembering
You pile up enough tomorrows and you'll be left with nothing but a bunch of empty yesterdays. I don't know about you, but I'd like to make today worth remembering. Meredith Willson, The Music Man
