Happy New Year to everyone! This New Year brings the next installment of the entertaining Tag Challenge, which has been on hiatus over the holidays. Many thanks to Sally Ings @salza for hosting the last tag challenge and to everyone who participated and voted. It is your on-going support that makes the tag challenge so successful!
The tag challenge is a great challenge for newbie and experienced alike. It is always good when you don’t have many ideas to have tags in the back of your mind , just in case. The tag challenge is one of those challenges that include a bit of luck in what subject you get to photograph and you would be surprised how often serendipity plays a part While most tags are usually relatively commonly used words, an unusual tag will occasionally come up that requires ingenuity in using in your photo.
This is what makes this challenge so much fun! Here are the rules for Tag Challenge 148
1. Click on the "Browse" tab and then select "by tag" from the drop-down menu. When the tags appear, close your eyes and move the cursor over the tags and stop on one. That is your first tag.
2. Repeat Step 1for your second tag - and remember NO PEEKING!
These two tags are now your photo assignment.
Please post your tags to this thread so I know what your words are.
3. Use these two randomly selected tags as your inspiration to create one shot that embodies both words. You can approach this sooc (straight out of the camera) or with the use of processing- it's up to you. And, good luck!
For an added challenge you can add a third tag using the same random method of selection. Clearly state your tags (preferably in your title) so that I know what your tags were.
You can post more than one photo in this challenge - but you must use the same tags.
As usual if you end up with a set of tags you feel is impossible to put into a photo, you can opt to use the "substitute tags" which I chose using the random selection above. My substitute tags are: 'fun' and 'macro' (optional third tag is 'sunrise')
The challenge starts today, Thursday, January 4th and will run until Thursday January 25th.
All photos entered must be taken between these dates in order to qualify in the final five.

I got Nature & SOOC, thought that was a little easy so I picked another and its Portrait. Since that's something I need to work on I'll take it. I got plans for today anyways :)
