First Challenge of the New Year - ALBUM COVER CHALLENGE #122 IS ON!

December 31st, 2020
Happy New Year to all you 365ers.

Thank you for voting for Hurricane Lane's album cover; it was much appreciated.  Thank you to the other photographers and finalists and those who participated in the voting process. Finally, thanks to Ann @olivetreeann who hosted the last challenge.

On to the first challenge for you on this brand new year!

Unlike the last challenge, I chose to go with the other format this time:

1.  First, THE BAND:  Go to  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia and choose the link for "random article" on the top left side of the page. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your musician(s) or band.

2.  THE ALBUM:  Go to  http://www.quotationspage.com and choose "random quotes" from the left menu. Scroll down to the end of the page. The last 4 to 6 words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your album.

3.   Next, THE ARTWORK: Find or take a photo that fits the album and artist(s). Album covers are square, so don't forget to crop it.

4.   Then, use your favorite editing program to create your cover (or, if you don't have one, Ace members have free access to picmonkey.com -- and there are many other free programs out there). You can use any image of yours for the album, old or new, but you must use your own images and do all processing for the cover and upload it during the time frame of the challenge.

START DATE - December 31, 2020/January 1, 2021
END DATE - January 25, 2021
TAG:   albumcoverchallenge122

I’m afraid I jumped the gun and entered an album cover just after the last challenge ended but before this one officially began. I didn’t show my Artist/title results

My Artist is Oxenfree (an online video game)
Album Title: “Sow the world with life immortal “ which is a quote from Dickens A Christmas Carol.

This is so much fun I couldn’t resist doing another one.

For my artist I got the Office of Drug Abuse Law Enforcement which goes by the acronym ODALE. I used artistic licence and hyphenated it.

For the album title I got a quote by Gordon Atkinson
“It’s not foresight or hindsight we need. We need sight, plain and simple. We need to see what is right in front of us.”

I'm trying to post my link here but nothing is working. I can't find the '3 dots' like you mentioned. Tried to copy the ahref thing here but it says it's a bad link. Help!

@interludephotographyky - oh, my goodness, kim. i'm sorry. i copied it from an older challenge i hosted and i completely forgot that the 3 dots format had been changed to the square with the arrow pointing right. you will find in at the bottom of your photo's narrative where on the left side you have the date and on the right side you have 3 icons for edit, number of comments, favs and then the square with the arrow. click on that and a little window will appear with the embed code that starts with

@summerfield I found the embedded code, but when I copy and paste it here in the comments I get 'invalid data' as an error code. I'm not changing it, so am I doing something else wrong? So sorry for being difficult. I'm usually really good with these kind of things.
