New technique challenge:Make some noise!!

A big thank you to @etienne for hosting the last technique challenge. And thank you to everyone who voted.

This go round … Let’s break the rules and embrace the noise and grit.

Adding some noise can change the mood of a photograph adding drama and texture. It’s particularly effective in black and white photography.

Try this by increasing your ISO and/ or increasing the grain in your favorite photo tool.

Here is one that I did a while ago - a blast from the past that does not qualify but it is VERY noisy!
