Hey everybody! Here's your assignment: Take a picture of a dog doing the funniest thing or the cutest thing or WHATEVER! Outdoor shots preferred if possible as dogs were meant to be outside!

Well, this one is not outside (sorry!) but Lissie, my son's dog, parked herself between my husband's legs when we were visiting and it cracked me up. :)

Sometimes I wonder if on judgement day we'll be judged by animals and how we treated them. After all... they can't tattle on us and without words we're supossed to know how they feel and what they need. Many beautiful dogs shown.. here is mine;

Taken a while back, so not for consideration, just to showcase my favorite picture of Pooperskittles. He's dead now, so I can't take more. I really miss that dog.
The puppies where we horse-ride. Every week I hope to have a nice picture of the 5 brothers & sisters posing like a postcard! they're always cute but are not very cooperative with my camera ;-)
Our little Maggie loved her first long motorcycle ride to Seattle... she is a very contented passenger and was so easy to take along. She also got quite a bit of attention as people passed us on the freeway... and then slowed down enough to let us catch up so they could get a photo!
@steveh should win this - the minute he posted that great shot of Oscar, the rest of us never stood a chance in any dog photo contest :)
But for the record, I just love this girl from the SPCA (waiting on her forever home) ... that "snaggle tooth" makes me giggle every time!
This is my totally gorgeous, adorable, cute and fluffy puppy. I had her over the back of the couch when i took this and in my house the dogs aren't alowed on any furniture :D hope you like it!!
@coosie Hi yes he was a Jack Russell terrier. We called him the naughty little dog, such a character. Sadly lost him suddenly at 3 yrs. This is my fav photo of him.

@stepheesue aww...ruby's hogging the spotlight. i think that the face toby has on is just about the sadest/cutest puppy-eyed face i've ever seen. nice contrast in dogs ;)
@coosie thanks for commenting. Ruby joined us in July. Tony is 11. If Ruby loves Tony 100%, Tony loves her about 15% back. Poor Tony, but I'm still hoping he'll find the good in her cuz she's a doll!

@coosie Yeah, that would be the best way. This thread is kinda old now, so it's not going to get many more views, but if you paste the top ten into a brand new thread, and call it "VOTING: dog pics" (or something similar) it will go right to the top of the 'latest" pile, also then the thread is nice and clean and it will be easier for you to count the votes as people will respond with a single number! Check the other "VOTE" threads to see what I mean....Happy Holidays BTW! :-)
