2015 April 25: Today I noticed that we have a new type of iris blooming in our flower bed ...I am not certain what variety it is. It is quite a bit smaller than our "regular" iris, but every bit as beautiful!
I believe that it may be some type of Dutch iris or Japanese iris, but am going to have to do more research to be certain. (It came in a bag of mixed bulbs ...of course, I've already thrown the bag, with its label, away!) Whatever the variety, I am happy to see this plant thriving in my garden!
This photo was taken after I had watered all of our plants; I like the effect of the water droplets on the petals.
This is stunning and I adore the water droplets all over it! It makes it looks so fresh and new!! I always throw the labels away too!! LOL Gorgeous details and lighting! Beautiful Iris!! FAV!
