2015 September 8: Although the weather is still quite warm and humid here, there are definite signs that autumn is arriving: falling leaves, migrating birds and butterflies, and fading blooms on our plants. Many of our garden plants will produce until the first frost or so, but the summer harvest is becoming less and less with each passing week.
Today I found this fading hydrangea bloom to be a beautiful, poignant sign of the changing of the seasons.
