2016.03.26 Saturday: Despite an intensely cold evening last night (I happen to know this because we were outdoors at 1:30 a.m. putting meat in our smoker!), today was a quite pleasant spring day. The weather was comfortably warm; the sunlight was cheerfully bright; a wonderful variety of birds happily flitted about in our yard; and beautiful puffy clouds lazily floated past above the treetops.
Although it is still slightly too early to plant, a local garden center had all their herb plants and vegetable plants on sale today, so I ended up buying a wonderful variety of plants which I hope I will be able to put out in my garden very soon.
