2017.10.08 Sunday: Hurricane Nate made landfall late last night as a Category 1 storm with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph. Landfall was near the mouth of the Mississippi River.
By the time that the remnants of the storm reached my area, the winds had mostly died down ...It only caused a steady rain to fall here throughout the day.
I enjoyed the cozy warmth of watching the rain fall from the comfort of my den!
