2017.10.06 Friday: To accompany yesterday's time-lapse of the rising Harvest moon, I got out quite early this morning to get a photo of the moon setting. This was the perfect opportunity to try some different settings on my camera and learn how to use the Manual setting better!
When I first went outdoors at 5:00 a.m. the world around me was still quite dark. The moon was shining brightly, but was still rather high in the sky. It actually was well after sunrise before the moon sank low in the sky; the sky was turning a brighter blue with each passing moment.
By the time that I was able to frame the moon with this silo, flocks of birds began awakening and flying about to look for their breakfast. It was a beautiful sight!
