Oops - I dropped off the face of the earth and stopped posting. Work just got really hard, and it will continue to be until mid-June...
This is a photo of my new friend I met on a swamp tour in New Orleans! I've always thought alligators were terrifying, but on this tour, the guide spoke to them in French and gave them treats, so they acted like puppy dogs. It was pretty surreal.
I'm not sure I'd be able to trust your new friend, even if he understands my French :-)
