Hello 616: high and dry on land as there are not many tourists around. These are the fore stemposts of the traditional boat taxi now used primarily by tourists. This type of boat was developed in the 17th century, and was extensively used to ferry passengers in the Grand Harbour between the 18th and 20th centuries.
I roamed the streets and the shore of the second of "the three cities": Vittoriosa. Captured a few shots and played around with a couple of them in post processing but then decided to upload this simple and straightforward shot of two boats. I liked the curves on the stemposts and how they are sort of leaning towards each other as they pass by.
