On our way down to the Inland Sea in Dwejra we stopped for a short visit at the small chapel dedicated to St Anne. The chapel, at the top of the hill just before going down to the beach, was built in 1963 and some consider it to be the first modern church in Gozo. The chapel was recently decorated by three mosaics which celebrate marriage. This one shows Saint Anne and St Joachim in a loving embrace.
