Manikata abstract sml

This is one of the abstracts that I shot during the walk around the Manikata Church. It is dedicated to Saint Joseph. The church was designed by Richard England in 1962, and built between 1964 and 1974. The church marks a break from traditional church building designs. The form is inspired by the "girna", which is a traditional round corbelled stone hut.
I like it!

Can easily be used as a large painting on the wall!

Great image that would probably also look good as a monochrome.

Love the colours. This reminded me of the ceramicist and artist Joan Miro’s work.
