I went for a short walk just before lunch this morning. I had almost reached the end of a lane that was going down into the valley when I noticed the statuette of the girl (Bernadette) kneeling on a pedestal. My first thought was that someone had taken away the Madonna, as this statue is usually paired with Our Lady. I had to move closer and look up and further away to get that the girl was placed on the column to look up at the statue that was placed in the arch which usually holds a bell. I didn't know that there was a small chapel in this area. Something to look into.
